Not Richard Digance Howard, went to Barry's summer home at Chatsworth, didnt get invited in,and went down to Ironbridge with my mate Gordon Brown who I met on Hadrians Wall(not the GB),also went to the Tram museum at Crich and saw a presentation on Florence Nightingale and passed through her home village of Holloway.Passed through Matlock and sat in thier lovely gardens which are run by Matlock Town Council. Then on Friday watched flog it from Matlock on TV and then they told you about Cromford where we stayed, home of Richard Arkwright one of the founders of the industrial revolution.
Stunning walking area and intresting visiting the mills,at Belper is the other De Bradelli Warfe, great aea and you now just change at St Pancras to get to Derby, also went to Matlock Bath where there were over 5000 motorcyclists meeting in a town which is no more than one main street and little side roads, the Town thinks it is a seaside resort, they even sell Buckets and spades and have illuminations for 2 months of the year,in the main road with 25-30 shops 8 were fish and chip shops, funny little place!
