I have had a lovely reply from Mr D'Eath at Southeastern Rail, and I am just trying to work out how to share it on this site - as soon as I do I will post it. I have to say I never objected to the engineering works - they need to be done. But the customer care sucked, and the reply, and the evidence above, seems to indicate a positive result and the promise of further action. A quick response from the company, too, to my email, and the prompt from Nigel Collor - than you Nigel!!
