Thoughts with the Sri Lankan cricket team today after the shocking attack by Muslim terrorists in Pakistan.
The ramifications for world sport remain to be seen.

Yes of course Andrew and one of the people injured is Paul Farbrace who is of course local.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

I went to School with the Farbrace family, and one of the boys daughters played for Dover Ladies FC with my daughter. He appears to have just a schrapnel wound in his shoulder.

one of things that all militants knew was not to interrupt the cricket in pakistan, almost a religion there.
in the old days of the troubles in ulster, paramilitaries knew to leave sportsman and sporting events alone.
too much lost support there.
getting back to today's incident, that bus driver showed incredible nerve, hope he gets recognised for it.

Howard yes just want to agree about the bus driver. I hope he gets the recognition he desrves. Ive just seen it on the news and he had tremendous nerve to keep the bus going despite bullets ripping into his cab. Had he not done so the carnage amongst the cricketers would have been worse.
Whent he English cricket team deliberated recently about going abroad, I forget exactly where now was it Pakistan, but they got much criticism of the wuss variety...they werent all that daft as it turns out.
