My brother (Mike Webb) would be a pupil from the early fifties, and so would our Deputy Mayor. There are a lot of people who once went to St Martins about, which is rather nice.

The school has had quite a bit of refurbishment, but not visible from Markland Road. When our Susannah went in recently, for the WWI classroom sessions, she found the school have a lovely atmosphere, and a sense of peace about it.

No, I'm not Margareuta, Diana. But I remember the toilets too. The boys were always very naughty, and tried to steal our skipping ropes - they'd grab one end and try to tug the rope into the boys' toilets, with all of us girls hanging on the other end, trying to save it.

I remember a little friend from back then - I think he was at the school only a couple of terms. I knew him just as Toody. Does anyone else remember him? I often wonder what becamed of him.
