Ah yes indeed St Patricks Day is always a welcome excuse for a bit of craic! I always try to make the most of it..its like having an extra birthday every year. Ive always been keen since the annual Parade in O'Connell St every year when I was a wide eyed kid all agog with leprechauns and shamrocks. I think its actually in our Irish bones from an early age to celebrate it. This is not the case with St Georges Day..that's more forced isnt it. More a case of 'we ought to celebrate it but we dont quite know how or why' type of thing.
