  Mandie I think the photo opportunity can be a purposeful tool for good in some circumstances so it shouldnt be rejected out of hand. However I agree there are photo opportunities and photo opportunities as most of us know.
  
  The one on the current frontcover is an effective one as it draws attention to the case of people fighting for their jobs. There are 20 or so people in the shot, but these represent a total of 190 people, with maybe even more to come. So both Gwyn and Stepehen Ladyman were on their way to a meeting trying to save those jobs. The workers themselves will be grateful for his intervention as will their families facing an uncertain Christmas. Publicity for their plight helps as it is always necessary to get the sympathetic ear of the public if possible.
