I remember that Howard - Keith, Marian and myself worked hard on that and delivered leaflets about it all over the Clarendon area and roads and as you say, a very tiny percentage responded, so nothing could be done.
Is it a large number who want a one-way system, or just a vocal few ?
Has anyone spoke to the Highways dept about the consequences of a one-way system ? the benefits and disadvantages of such a system ?
If a one-way is set-up, there is teh danger of cars dfdribing so much faster and as children play in the streets around there, there could well be some serious accidents.
I'm not saying it shouldn't go ahead at all, but it really does need talking to the experts about it.
