Yes the Street Athletics that were held on the seafront last year are returning to Dover,this time in Tower Hamlets at the Dover Boys Grammar School on Friday 26th June from 4pm to 6pm.
Dover District Council have handed this over to Vista Leisure and Community Manager Dave Harcourt called a meeting today and it is all go.
The course will be over 60mts and will feature races for Under 13s,Under15s,Under17's and under 20's,there will also be races for key stage 2 children but the winners on the Primary School races will not be going forward to the Regional finals in Hawkinge in July.
There will also be street dancing and Hip Hop from a variety of sources from Dover and Canterbury,and other games and art,so if it is your scene be there if it isn't and you know someone who might be intrested send them along,parking is available from 3.45pm at Cheyney Field in front of Astor School.
