You asked us to remind you about the Tilmanstone village fete this Saturday nearer the date...
Tilmanstone Village Fete is in the grounds of Dane Court mansion, Tilmanstone (off the A256), this Saturday, July 24th Open 2pm to 5.30pm.
To be opened by Jan Leeming, well known as a former TV news-reader. There will be ---
Stalls :-Plants, Produce, Cakes, Bric a Brac, Tombola, Books, Face Painting, Competitions and games, tug of war (3.15pm).
Lots of competitions, especially for children, old photos of Tilmanstone village, display Birds of Prey, Gypsy Horse and Cart, Pony Rides, Craft Workshops.
Tea tent full of goodies and show tent competition entries and photos exhibition.
Ice creams. The Cantium Brass Band will play during the afternoon. Punch and Judy show starts 3.30pm.
There will be notices regarding parking.
Entrance £1 per person, 50p children
