  Try organic, Colin. Much derided and scoffed at (see what I did there....?!) but much organic stuff - especially the meat because what you put into an animal is what you taste when you eat it (think about it..) - really does taste better. The smaller animals, poultry and game etc, are clearly better because they eat better and generally run around more because they have eaten better! We buy organic veg etc when we can, but even I am not sure that veg taste better, although sometimes they do - carrots and root veg more than others for some reason - but certainly animals and game have a definite advantage taste wise.
