    Well I see that Tate n Lyle a great British company has gone the same way as Cadburys and been flogged off to the Yanks for a reported £211 million in cash.In an attempt to reduce their debts.

    I remember having to visit their Silvertown refinenary to clear the seaman who were bringing in the raw sugar cane. There was no way you could go through the area without being covered in sugar dust. It didn't half attract the bees in summer...
