A suspected terrorist was arrested yesterday in a raid on an executive home in a village in Kent. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was held after police surrounded the £325,000 property on a new-build estate in Hawkinge, near Folkestone, at 8am. Kent police said he was detained on suspicion of "being engaged in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism".
Found this snippet of news which may be of interest to Dovorians. The Kebab shop in the High St owned by the above was also raided. The threat is closer to home than we think.

17:336183You might as well name it Marek as it's hardly a secret any more! Yes, it was the Dolphin Kebab house opposite the Charlton Centre.

20:526214There could be a connection with the militant PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party). The terrorism charges might not even relate to planned terrorism in the UK. Who knows?
Have a look at this old story I just stumbled upon:

Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
