  Yay!! Hear Hear! I was sadly in Tesco this morning - the Old Man wanted to buy cheap wine. It was horrible - warehoused and soul-less, without any degree or scrap of humanity, it reduced shopping to a matter of piling it high and waiting in line. There is more to life than tasks - shopping is only a task if we make it so - everything has some value, and some fun and experience can be had from most household tasks and events. Shopping is a way to teach your children some values and skills, a way to meet and interact with people, a way to support our local community. If you shop in Tesco, just about all of that is lost.
