KP is not a team player; a maverick that can be brilliant at times, he can win matches single-handedly but the downside is that he sometimes seems to be not pulling his weight. I believe that he's simply out of nick at the moment, and that can happen to anyone. However, team management needs to be firm with him and ensure that he either becomes a team man or his place is in jeopardy; perhaps the fear of losing his place may spur him on to getting his mind set back in place.
The indoor facilities at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury are second to none, a genuine asset to Kent cricket at all levels. Your grandchildren will get all the help they need there, Paul, to play the game at whatever level they're good enough for; what they need is to get into a strong youth club, and I would recommend Deal Victoria & Barns Close Cricket Club in Walmer as the club with the best set up for kids cricket in the area. Their facilities are head and shoulders above anything else any other clubs locally can offer for colts cricket.
