There was also talk of the Calais Port buying Dover. The figures mentioned are £500,000,000. Well as much as I like travelling and holidaying in France...Im not sure if that French option is ideal. The options are all huge international players, with little or no feel for the UK I would suggest..and would very easily be able to bring labour in from elsewhere at cheaper rates. It wouldnt be hard for them considering their international remit. Would these internationalists care for Dover Town more than Her Majesty's Government?
Likeable reporter Simon Jones, who did the interviews, may be at our Party tomorrow night. He will come if he is in the area, but as his job takes him all over the county it very much depends on that. But we hope to see him. He has at various times contacted ColetteB with regard to various goings on.
