09:0666291Dover has one big thing going for it,it is the weather we do have the best weather go 20miles outside Dover and it changes,as we have seen over the few weeks,and we can turn is for the good of the town, by telling the public to come to the Dover for the best weather in the UK and the best sea views .

11:3766300I hate to be on a downer, but if we have the best weather I dread to think what the rest of the country is like. I have not been able to sit out on the balcony more than a couple of times since June, due to high winds and/or cold and rain.
Since Dover is on a corner, so to speak, we get a lot of wind, especially down here on the shoreline, though I am aware that further up the town it is sheltered.

12:2966312When I lived in Burnham-on-Crouch they claimed to have the best weather too, and backed it up with statistics. However, as far as I am concerned and going purely on personal experience, Cornwall has the worst weather in England, and Dorset has by far the best.

13:3466315i always thought that eastbourne had the most sunshine on average followed by folkestone.
south devon is high up too, according to basil fawlty it is the english riviera.
