    jumping the gun there paul, it takes while for people to get used to it.

    when a big ocassion happens(like on sunday, we hope), then there will be a larger crowd and a police presence.


    i think that we sometimes forget that a lot of people have given up on town centres at evening time, once a few popular sporting and musical events are staged, gradually word will get around.

    the people that you speak if will soon disappear when crowds start to gather there.
