  if you would be so kind i have a few questions;
  
  
  1; residents(some)in belgrave road have highlighted the poblem of the unsightly bins outside there homes, my mother who is one of the elderly residents has requested the council to remove the bin from her property which they have not done so.
  
  2;these schemes always have teething problems and i personally made a complaint in the eaves road area on the workings of re cycling.
  in the first week of introduction the general rubbish was not collected at all therefore every house had 3 weeks of general rubbish to put out at the next collection, not on;y was this poor but bags not being collected is showing our not so nice friends that no one is in and thus creates a security risk
  
  3; some people are still using old style bins in eaves road, when i tried to use my old bin(which i had just purchased prior to recycling starting) the dust persons refused to collect from anything other than the purple sacks so we had loads of black sacks bins etc scattered all over the road
  
  
  4; the black boxes for cardboard/boxes etc are to small not holding much and this will just encourage people not to bother to recycle and just throw it all in the general waste.
  
  5;why dont the dustpersons when they have collected rubbish not clean up after themselves, or if there is the odd box container that has blown out of the black box onto the path, cant they pick it up? rather than just leave a mess.
  
  
  6; i cant recall in my 11 years living in eaves road seeing a road sweeper, this might be a sensible idea but wouldn't be a good idea to have road sweepers doing the rounds following the dust carts at some point after the collection?
  
  
  
  sorry terry i'v gone a bit, but its frustrating when in eaves road i'v encouraged people to re cycle and the service is as above
