Again thank you for the replies.
The one thing that has stood out in this whole saga is the confrontational response from the DDC to previous questions. If they explain why something HAS to happen the public can understand but dictating the new service in such a heavy handed way just puts peoples backs up.
With hindsight they could have saved a lot of these problems and the cost of so many bins by asking each household which they would prefer, wheelies or purple sacks.
I am still in favour of the wheelies for myself as I have the room
but the house opposite me now has theirs stuck at a funny angle in their flower bed. One house down Albert Road has four bins completely blocking their entrance.
