  Thanks Andrew, I did wonder if the wood had dried out to much and possibly even very slightly warped. I suppose beeswax will also protect the wood from the water as well as acting like a sealant with the moss which I guess is the longer stem sphagnum moss rather than bun moss.
  
  I certainly wish you well with the fund raising and hope you exceed your target to cover future costs.
