I have recently read that DHB will be retaining the pylon in situ as a tribute to the hovercraft. Besides after fifteen years the pylon has corroded into the base and would be very difficult to remove. Apparently attempts by the Hovercraft Museum to acquire it were refused. Is this accurate does anyone know?
