Sorry, Harry, but you've got me wrong, and badly so. I've supported football all my life, and when I lived in London was a regular at Stamford Bridge for many years, in the days when Chelsea played the likes of Carlisle Utd and Grimsby Town. It would do you well to find out who you are making assumptions about before you start casting allegations that have little bearing in fact.
I merely happen to believe that the values we seem to hold are arse about face when footballers hold a lifestyle second to none whilst others in society are treated as second class citizens and they do more, much more, than footballers. Howard is right when he says that footballers do act as worthy role models for many, however at Premiership level the standard has been ultra poor of late, especially in the Chelsea team I have supported since the age of 8.
