As Rick was one of the founders of Pink Floyd, along with the late Syd Barret, there will never be another. Being an old hippy at heart I tend to prefer their first few albums (Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Saucerful of Secrets, Umma Gumma etc) as I tended to find that from Dark Side of the Moon on they were just finding new ways of saying "poor old Syd, we miss him". There is however no doubt that it was Rick Wright's contributions that helped create their unique sound and he will be sorely missed. As an aside, although he did feature on some tracks on the first two albums, as well as on Syd's solo works, Dave Gilmour was not a founder member as he only joined to replace Syd when the later decided to walk home to Cambridge and never went back.
