An amusing ditty.
However at least Gordon Brown served a long apprecticeship before hitting the number one spot. This Tortoise teethering on a post draws George W Bush to mind more than anything or anyone else. Now that George W's reign is coming to an end tomorrow, one must ask how on earth he got the job in the first place. He seems to one and all an entirely unappropriate candidate for such a job and leaves office as the most unpopular president of all time.
How did he make it into that number one political slot on the planet? Well its baffling. He is not anyones idea of an intellectual, he has/had little or no grasp of anything outside of Washington or Texas. He knows nothing of the planet, he doesnt know where anywhere is and then when he finds out he doesnt know how to pronounce it, he has no grasp of the climate change problem and his one strategy, war on terror, is now called into question as being the least effective approach to the problem. His wars were disasters and perhaps even pointless. He has indulged in his press briefings in the most hilariously ludicrous mangling of the English language you would ever hear...so I dont know...what did he have going for him??
