it now comes down to the wire.
the leaders of the 3 main parties are not even stopping to sleep anymore, just all day all night campaigning.
two opinion polls out tomorrow suggest all to play for.
yougov/currant bun
blues 35%
reds 30%
yellows 24%
comres/independent/itv news
blues 37%
reds 29%
yellows 26%
both would leave a hung parliament if voting was like this across the board.
however, there are an estimated 40% of voters undecided, i am one of them.
will the newly released passion of gordon, the top class presentation of dave or the youthful new nick woo the undecided?
my view is that the traditional red voters will be invigorated by the new improved gordon, much the same with dave minus the inevitable drift to ukip.
nick has commandeered the young new voters from day one, they will stay with him.
i cannot remember an election as compelling as this one.

Yes indeed there is a great mass of voters still undecided at this election which is in itself something new. Some falling away from the LibDems there in those figures Howard but I expect that that was inevitable to a degree. Both of the other parties have benefited from this falling away, both of them going up a point or two. The most passionate and fiery speeches made in the last two days have come from Gordon Browne which has taken everyone by surprise. Nick Robinson, the BBC's political editor has expressed considerable surprise, but at the same time expressed how good it was to see Gordon unchained.

Maybe he's fiery because he's woken up to the fact that he's gonna lose - and lose because people remember all that's gone on over these last 13 years and want an end to it.
People don't want higher taxes to pay for Government waste.
People don't want a lax approach to immigration.
People don't want to be called a bigot because they have concerns about immigration.
People don't want further involvemnet in the EU.
People don't want their hard-earned money going on supporting lazy good-for-nothings living off benefits - and I'm NOT talking of anyone who needs/deserves them, but those who simply don't want to work.
People don't want money spent on targets for the NHS, they do want money spent on front-line staff and patient care.
Think what Britrain will be like in five or ten years time with another 5 years of Gordon Brown and the Labour Government: completely broke - financially and morally.

Brian - I have warned for over 18 months that we are headed for a double dip recession as a result of Labour's policies.
As for Mrs T - she saved this country from the complete mess made by the Wilson/Callaghan Governments. She truned the economy around and we owe her a debt of gratitude.
Watched Gordie and his bird on the tv sofa this week. Couldn't quite understand why Sarah failed to smile or laugh at anything Gordie said. Perhaps she knew he just being his usual false self.
Remember Labour fans, HE thinks YOU are bigots.

sid, whats the % of people leaving the country if the conservatives get in.
Whatever it is Brian, it won't be big enough to give us all a bit more room.
