    PaulB, Ed gives clear information confirming port activity had cease. I think it is quite easy to pin down the port's refusal. People working at the port will substantiate the ports position as will those involved in the organisation. Why would anyone in this town stand in mindless defence of DHB?

    Why would the organisers want anything other than a full display? We may as well accept that we, the residents of Dover, are at the hands of the port in. If you don't like it, move to Folkestone.
