  I understand that one of the issues with these lights was that the brickwork on the buildings wasn't up to the job; I agree with Howard when he says that the lights were the best he (or I) have seen in Dover, and it's a shame that the weather has been so poor lately that the lights haven't lived up to our hopes. One would have thought, however, that it would have been a fundamental health & safety requirement to ensure that the brickwork was good enough.........
