My husband Les and I are renewing our wedding vows in October and I'm currently up to my eyes in arrangements - believe me when I say it's worse than planning a wedding, ha ha! I recently bought a small tiara to wear as I don't do hats and didn't want a veil (I tried feathers but I looked like an extra from Swan Lake, you ladies will know what I mean!) Anyway said tiara arrived and I have been wearing it around the house to make sure it stays on my head properly. It worked so well I forgot I was wearing it. A few days ago I was hoovering and the door bell rang - you know what's coming next don't you - it was a parcel delivery guy. I couldn't figure out why he was looking at me a little strangely. I signed for the parcel and then he said "Do you always wear your tiara when you are vacuuming"? Ooop's!

Speaking of postmen, the other day I answered the door to mine (not wearing my tiara I hasten to add) we were chatting about his recent holiday and heard 'beep beep, beep beep'. He said "Aren't you going to turn off your smoke alarm"? It wasn't the smoke alarm it was my cockatiel mimicking it! Postie didn't believe me so I made him come in and see for himself! - 19 June 2012 12:08178953i knew someone whose cockatiel mimicked the door bell, drove the owners mad.

Jeane, you certainly lightened my mood by starting this thread.
How romantic that you and Les are renewing your vows Although it takes a lot of planning I'm sure you will enjoy arranging it all, its so exciting. Keep us posted, I can feel lots of Photos coming this way
