17:4340692The Kent Mountain Centre is owned and run by the Kent County council and is situated at Llanberis, North Wales just a few miles from Snowden.
Nearly every county council in England have a centre situated throughout the Wales area and ours is the most popular.
If you know any one who has the chance to go on one of these trips I would highly recommend they do so.

20:0340704Why does KCC think it good fiscal policy to spend tax payers money on a mountain centre? Surely the centres should be commerical operations offering attractive packages for those who wishto use their facilities?

09:3240733Helloooooo Ian , here we go. lovely pictures there of daring action. Well done you..you hardy soul! worthy of frontpage coverage some of these, lovely stuff indeed.
By the way..reason they didnt upload is that they are too big MB wise..need to be reduced. our max as we stand is 2MB. Some of these 3MB and beyond. Its these new cameras innit..with all the megapixels.

09:5040740If you check them out, you will see that they offer a considerable positive experience for young people in particular but for a wide diversity of people. They are a thriving business as well. Job done.

17:4740783i don't see a problem with KCC owning such a facility, so long as it is very well used.
not that many mountains close by for our kids to learn about.

18:2140791Minority activity sure to be taking far too much of tax-payers hard earned money. Sorry to be a grouse, but KCC are the pits when it comes to money management, and this just helps prove the point.

13:2540878Depending on the camera, mine is a Lumix, you can adjust the size in the camera itself. Otherwise, Microsoft Photo Editor, or any good picture editor, offers the chance to change the size of a photo.

You'll have to have a Forum Party at the White Horse and bring you laptop, or put them on the Big-Screen.
