Maybe...
Purnell just resigned and calling on Brown to do the same 'for the Labour Party'
One of the Milliband brothers maybe next. Flint is also being speculated about.
Just how much more of this can Brown survive. This is all before we see the results of the elections.
He is so short of Labour MPs willing to join his Government he had Alan Sugar into no 10 reportedly to offer him a Cabinet role. But then perhaps it was the other way around, Sir Alan pointing his finger at Brown saying, 'your sacked'....
Brown out in just days maybe, new PM then snap general election. Dont rule it out, things are moving fast and we really are into new territory. No Government ever has falen apart as dramatically as this one.
Ohhhh nearly forgot, it appears 75 Labour MPs have signed a letter asking Brown to resign. Not enough perhaps to force him but addded to the other pressures.
Then we have a motion to disolve Parliament coming up Wednesday. Convention wisdom says the Government will win it. But does conventional wisdom apply right now.

Keith.... we will see. Go to Politicshome.com and you will find that there is a lot more going on than I have mentioned here.
Okay step up ladies and germs, all bets are on. I bet £1.00 that Brown is gone by the end of this month. Any advances on my little punt?

will be good to see boy dave's face when he realises that he actually has to do something rather than rant at prime ministers question time.
rick
in response to an earlier post, the british public has never voted for a prime minister.
