  I would like to say that I think we all owe it to PaulB to give him support and to keep our forum topical and fresh, if we don't we will lose it. Having been onboard since the original forum days with Rick and Paul together I've seen lots of changes in lots of ways. In my opinion the site we have now is fantastic, all down to Pauls hard work and those who spoil it by making it look unprofessional and childish should go. Yes we have our differences but they are, in the main, sorted out in an adult way. The social gatherings that Paul and Collette arrange periodically are proof that although we don't all agree with one another we are still friends. Heaven forbid that we all think the same, that's why this forum is interesting.
  I totally agree with the actions Paul has taken today and let's hope we can all get back to how things were - how things should be. Paul works hard to keep us bang up to date with all things local and he doesn't need the added stress of silly arguments etc to cope with.
  
  It's Springtime now - time for springcleaning - let's go forward and help Paul keep our forum all sparkley and fresh.

  Although I don't live in Dover I've been around this forum since 2001 and have many good friends there. Obviously I can't comment on many local issues but I do chip in with things when I can and I always like to keep up to date with what's going on. Sometimes I don't post for a few days but that's simply because I have nothing of interest to add so I'd rather say nothing. I keep out of the political stuff too but I enjoy all the photos and amusing items.

  Thanks for that Jacqui and Jeane, its hard work keeping it all going and running smoothly. However, keeping PaulB all sparkley and fresh is another matter
  
  Will organise another social gathering Jacqui, hopefully towards the end of May so we can all meet up

  someone said that he bought a round, might just be a nasty rumour though.
  
  must keep him sweet, with the demise of the our local press there is no other way of finding out what goes on in our town.
  
  rather worrying for the people that are not on the internet, they will be cut off totally.

  On a different note, PaulB, given recent discusions about content on here, may I ask, please - how do you see this magazine/form? For example, is it a business, or as a voluntary service (either self-suppporting through adverts or maybe not), etc etc. Just interested.

  I'm still baffled as to what it is thsat Paulb has done today!!!!
  so can't reply to it.
  
  The forum does run well in the main, but we do have to allow debate, and allow people to air views, to you jacqui you may think they are silly, but to a wider audience maybe people don't share your view?
  
  Iv always made my position clear I will always defend peoples right to post i'v even in the past defended my mate Barryw and tried to stop paulb when he excluded him for a few days.
  
  So its about freedom of expression and those posting and watching to be tolerant
  
  
  I have only 1 very small gripe and thats my wish to bring back the seperate politics page, hopefully in time that will happen,?

  If you had bothered to read the postings from PaulB you would know what "it's all about".
  As Howard has already said - the politics forum is NOT coming back.
  With regard to your comment to me, again if you had read what Paul wrote, you would know that he has had a lot of complaints about some of the juvenile and silly postings on here, so I am far from being alone in my view. Paul has spoken and the forum will go on under his rules which is as it should be. All members know the rules and if they are followed, hopefully things will jog along nicely.
  Please don't spoil things by turning this thread into another silly argument.
