  Yes, it was a very good evening with the vast majority of the Ladies looking fantastic and although I'm obviously biased, I thought Jean's gown was beautiful and so was she !!
  
  We even went to the expense of having our picture taken by the professional photographer there- no insult to you Colette and Paul I hasten to add.
  
  I think you are right Paul, that it is Dover's grandest social occasion and many people go year after year.
  It was good to see it was full up and much of that is the high esteem Sue Jones is held in.
  
  Well done to Sue (Jones) and Ronnie (Philpott), also of course Val and Ron at the Town Hall.
  
  Didn't see you there Barry - hope nothing untoward kept you away ?
