Again thank you all for your support in this matter it was only today that I was talking again to our own M.P. about the the sell off he still thinks his plan is the best to save the port going to a overseas buyer, I told him I do not agree with him,but again I have not read his plan and sorry to say I will not,I like most of the rest of you all, think the port should say as it is but we need to look at some of the DHB Membership as it is today and if any of them are not with the keeping of the port then it should be them that go(With out any payment) not the port. This is the list of members Roger Mountford ( Chairman )I think he talks very well, and makes a good Chairman.

We have next George Jenkins(Deputy Chairman) he has worked alot for the N.H.S. over the years and came to the port of Dover in 2005 and his appointment terminates in 2011 I do not know much about him but feel this is one member that can go in 2011 again with no ex payment.

We then have the man himself Dr Bob Goldfield,Chief Executive and Register, and the man most like to hate,I think that wording is to stong but I must say over the last two years,I find it very hard to think he is working for the PORT OF DOVER and not for himself, I might be very wrong but I have said this at meetings with him there I feel he is looking at going with a payoff at the end of it all. Also he has be with us from 2002,maybe it is time he went again with out any expayment.

Next up we have Michael Krayenbrink,(Director of Port Development0Date of his appointment was in 2005,but has been employed by the D.H.B. fromm1977. I know nothing of this man and do not know if he is doing a good job or not but he has been in tbe ferry and port Operations a very long time and I have afeeling he should keep his seat on the Board. I have more still to come on this after a cup of tea.
