    Howard - just await the details. I have seen a lot of nonsense about the budget, everyone is speculating like mad and 90% of it will be way off the mark.

    Besides, it is simply not as clearly cut at you suggest. I suspect what you are referring to are the areas that are most dependent upon State spending, we in the South East have a smaller part of our economy so dependent. It is only natural that areas of the country that will be hardest hit by spending cuts will get extra aid. Parts of the north have 60% or more of their local economy state aid dependant, we are not in that position, even here in Dover.
