  I spent a great day yesterday at Detling, the great Militery Odysse.

  A great day out but very expensive.
  £15 to get in and the food is extortionate £2.50 for a tray of chips.
  
  You can buy anything from a Russian T62.

  I was there on Saturday - for the amount that there is to see £15 is a good price really

  15 quid is not that bad when you think of the transport and insurance costs for equipment like that.
  
  mind you £.2.50 for a tray of chips is a bit over the top, i got striped up like that at the bleriot weekend.

  Ok I'll bow down to the £15 as value for money.
  As my parents came down for the week I also looked at a trip to Leeds Castle and at £17.50 for one entrance fee we gave that one a miss.
  I know someone will say that, for that price you can have entry all year long but would you want to drive 300 miles just for a trip around the grounds.
  It realy beats me how they come up with these prices.

  we pay about 1 and a half the admission fee and can go whenever we like for a whole year.
  great for us but not for your friends in east yorkshire.
