We had this lovely poignant picture in from John Mavin and its been passed over to me by Barry W-S. It shows the rather sad and tired looking Saga Rose departing Dover for the last time on the 8th of June. This ship harks back to a bygone era when cruising no doubt was a very different game indeed. The pursuit of the exclusively well-to-do. Now with its great days over, it heads for that scrapyard in the sky. Its a very good picture from an upclose location, it captures her rounding the lighthouse for the very last time...
