Karlos yes it could be so as the shingle has got scooped out and shoved around bigtime by the strength of the sea these past weeks. For example there is several tons of it on the promenade as we write. The Port made every effort to get it back onto the beach to begin with, only for the sea to continually chuck it all back on the prom again within hours.
Yes the famous hole Vic, or should that be the infamous hole. Nowadays they call 'em sink holes and very alarming they are too. I think I have a picture of you working on it somewhere Vic but cant find it right now. Its buried somewhere in the system. I have found this little one though..I did have larger pictures...somewhere
