I have just completed the questionnaire.
For those of us who care, it's worth taking a few minutes of your time to encourage the powers that be to pump some civic pride back into the town.
It's seemingly low-level stuff such as tarting up the legion derelict buildings (think Bench Street and King Street) that should be an absolute first priority. Take a leaf out of Folkestone's book I say, and start off with some innovative and modern street art. There are lots of artistic types in Dover and Deal whom I'm sure would rise to the challenge.
The greatest irony of ironies, I always find, is on Castle Street. There's the 'Dover Pride' council drop-in centre on one side of the road and the crumbled, collapsing carcass of 'Damages' on the other. Astonishingly poor juxtaposition that shames us all.
Make sure you bang some heads together by filling in that questionnaire.
Regards all,
Andy
