Back in late March, there was a meeting between several stakeholders to decide the way ahead to support Dover - the fabric of the Town as well as the businesses; the need was identified and the route forward was agreed.

Since then there has been much discussion and agreements "in principle" - but no money has come forward. Until that money has come forward, nothing is going to happen; until someone says "yes", inertia will rule and nothing will change.

I know the man who is going round to all interested parties, advising them all of the benefits etc. of funding this and the great positive differences it will make to Dover and all the people here, whether resident or visitor, but actually coughing up is the stumbling block; he is doing a great job, but it is now the turn of those stakeholders to take that leap and start funding.
