    I agree to get schools involved but there is always room for proper artists to be involved. I do think this could be managed better at times as I don't think those making decisions really 'get' what they are trying to achieve.

    If you look at Folkestone, they are very clear in what they are doing with art in the town. I don't think we should try and replicate this but we should have a clearer focus.

    Sue, just because you don't like something or understand it, you shouldn't just dimiss them. I think watercolours of Crabble corn mill and oil paintings of cats in baskets are silly but I'm sure these are right up your street!
