I'm sorry Paul, maybe I didn't phrase my posting very well.
I said Conservatives mostly, because UKIP voters generally come from traditional Conservative voters and they are more concerned about EU (and non-EU) immigration.
Labour, as a party and Government, have always been happy with increasing immigration without any real controls; in fact it formed part of their policy I thought.
We as Conservatives must take cognisance of the majority of the population's view, that we as a country, are full up.
People from Eastern Europe will generally be happy to work for less than the minimum wage because it is still more than they would get at home, hence the lowering of wages in many cases.
I am a "True Blue", but still feel able to say if things are not being done right - admittedly my previous posting implied something I didn't mean it to.
Sid.
I did "condition" that all embracing bit, to Europe and Immigration. I didn't mean all embracing as in some of the softie stuff.
Roger
