i was taken aback around mid day by seeing the elusive nigel collor trying to enter a bank in market square.
i forced him to chat with me for a while, he is looking as chipper as ever, i asked him about his mum.
not so good there, he hesitated for a moment, mentioned her age 89 and hinted that she was not so well.
it then transpired that she has no home help and still insists on doing her own laundry including sheets and blankets in the sink.
hats of to nigels mum i think.

She is indeed a proud Lady Sue and has to climb about 3 floors to her flat.
Nigel has tried to convince her to move to a ground floor flat or one with a lift, but she is dead set against moving - memories I understand.
I'm sure we all wish her well.

Gosh it took me a little while to find this one...so many pitures, so little time. But here we are...got there in the end. Its Nigel's Mum on the Anti Prison Demo complete with 'no prison' banner. This was just after MP Gwyn Prosser and Paul Watkins Conservative Leader had made speeches, year 2006. She was approx 85 or so at the time and still standing up for Dover.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Terry, had you forgotten your duvet and aggresive little dog? Could that be the reason why you were standing?

i must admit that it gives cause for concern that terry still hangs about on street corners.
i thought his asbo was supposed to stop him doing that.

Vic's posting inspired me to go off and do a quick bit of research on the King Brothers. A fascinating story to be read here:
http://www.45-rpm.org.uk/dirk/kingb.htm I also never realised they were Essex boys from Hornchurch. Next will be a rummage on YouTube to see if there is anything there.

Sid #12
I changed the words a bit, didn't want to get Terry into trouble
Seems I've rattled a few brain cells in the older folk on here.
