Today at 2 30pm was a programme called missing lots of it based in Dover
with actors/actresses such as
PAULINE QUIRK
Gillian gillforth
in it
good pictures of gateway flats
white cliffs
seafront
anyone see it?
On later today on BBC HD (whatever that is!!).
Presumably will be available on BBC I-Player after that.

saw an episode last year, to be exact about 10 minutes, the plotline was thin, the dialogue crass, the acting awful and the sets wobbly.
other than that it was ok.

I managed twenty minutes of it today. By goodness it was dreadfully cliched by-the-numbers forgettable stuff. Concerned expressions, stilted dialogue and unconvincing performances. Many of the locations were actually filmed in Maidstone though there was one scene filmed at the Wellington Dock.
There was an aerial shot of the town centre with Burlington House as the focal point, which I found amusing for all the wrong reasons. A wonderful advert.
Turgid and hackneyed. Avoid unless one actually enjoys bad drama in an ironic way.

don't take it personally keith, we all have different opinions about publicity for dover.
i was one that thought that the status quo episode reflected ok on us.
it was all light hearted and cheery, gave the impression that we have a fun town to visit.
