  Well done getting those figures up Howard. Yes the polls have tipped again in favour of the Tories. One extraordinary bad poll there too for the LibDems. The LibDEms are slipping back a little but I guess it has to be expected as euphoria is hard to maintain. Their meteoric rise was embraced by one and all because people are desperate for change alright..some freshness in politics. They clearly did not see the Tories supplying that change otherwise David Cameron would have run away with it long before now.
  
  Back into ageist country now...where its certainly well established that Vince Cable is a very popular and likeable man, some of his performances on TV recently havent been tip top. In the three party economy debate for example with Andrew Neil and Stephanie Flanders he seemed a little lost presentation wise. He wasnt as slick as the other two, George Osborne and Alistair Darling, as those guys are way younger and it shows. He may be suffering the Ming Campbell factor. Nice man but too old for the job, a factor that caused Ming to step down as LibDem leader. The LibDEms are short of frontrank performers(apart from N Clegg of course)....and its all about HOW that message is delivered at the end of the day.
  
  So the LIbdems are slipping back a tad but note..the Tories have gained by that same amount. So at a rough guess...the floaters who last week shifted to the LIbdems have drifted back to the Tories. The Labour vote remains stable.
  
  Perhaps the might of the totally unsavoury Tory press last week has caused Nick Clegg damage as unfortunately people still beleive what they read in the papers. In a day and age when newspapers are struggling..they themselves mercilously hammered a nail in their own coffin this week, as they came out with such unpalatable one-sided and orchestrated rubbish.
