Voters are certainly fickle Marek...so much depends on how the individual leaders are seen week by week...its as fickle as that. Gordon Brown has had some good events lately where he shines in his own quiet/shy way. He is good at the Remembrance ceremonies for example, he exudes the appropriate air of gloomy pain. He did politically rather well out of that Sun/grieving mother fiasco, as the nation did feel massively sympathetic for him. It was a nasty setup in political terms, and the general public saw that. In other words, The Sun slipped on their own Tory bananaskin. He was also very good and seen very well in his visit to the beleagured town of Cockermouth. For some reason, although at times appearing dead and buried, he has a resilience with the voter that might surprise all yet.
