I have eaten duck about 3 times in my life (years ago) but I just kept thinking of beaks and those cute little faces and I couldn't do it.

In the Phils there is a dish called 'balut' which is a fully formed chick still in its shell awaiting to hatch. They allegedly have the same effect as viagra but taste dreadful...urghMarek

I suppose we do culinary things here that people overseas might find repugnant, so perhaps I shouldn't condemn, especially as Fillipino people are so kind and gentle.
But fried/roasted/whatever half-hatched duck eggs still fills me with abhorrance.
