    The truth is that the town centre is fragmented, no one stretch for shopping. You used to be able to go from the town centre and all the way up to cherry tree with shops. Now you have London road stretch, asda/morrissons enclave and the Argos to weatherspoons bit. Over than that not much to interconnect if your walking and not much parking (should make it free and encourage people to go into town).
