    The Charlton centre did alot better i think when Sainsburys was next door,more people around the area.The present management have done all they can to keep it going and should be admired for that but who knows what the future holds for the Charlton centre.I can remember when it first opened back around 1980? The top floor was filled with traders similiar to the indoor market and they seemed to be getting a living,but it was all shiny and new back then.A friend of mine wanted to open a shop upstairs and had to wait until a unit became free.How things have changed.
