I know from my DDC days certain wards in Dover were classed as deprived.I hear what Jan is saying.A good friend of mine when faced with young Mums complaining about not enough money to feed their families My friend taught them how to make wholesome meals.I think people who donate to food banks should buy food and the people who need to feed their families be taught how to manage
    and cook a decent meal.
There is too much dependency on hand outs .
I found it hard when I had a young family .
