we all remember that chap that was killed last august.
the marine accident investigation branch have criticied the event stating that no quality risk assessment was done, there were too many craft in the water, the rules were confusing and that there were too many novices taking part.
we all go on about health and safety suffocating us but this time the opposite seems to be the case.

Yes I saw this Howard...some stringent criticism was voiced today. Health & Safety is always an easy dog to kick but we certainly need some, there's no doubt about that. But of course the organisers didnt anticipate such a tragedy and were doing their best for Dover.

This has never happen before so the rules already in place are alright but in any sport things like this happen and will still go on happing.
